I was now struggling. I was fed up of feeling tired each morning as I knew I had to face yet another day in an environment I did not really want to be in.
Then, right about the time when I was feeling most frustrated and angry from having hardly anything to do, a flash of inspiration and insight hit me...
My Eureka Moment...
So there I was, sitting on a library of books and CD's on personal development which had so far helped me to achieve corporate success, and I realised: "If I could achieve a fantastic amount of business in the corporate world, maybe I could replicate the same type of success in my trading world."
So I set out to copy some of the 'Super-Traders' out there.
For so many years I had blinkers on whilst working for "The Boss", and I was making him happier and richer, whilst yes, I was working harder and harder, for less and less.
Sound familiar? Well, that's when I decided to just sit down and study my charts and look out for patterns that could be traded.
So I would watch the charts for hour after hour, day after day. Whenever I saw what I believed to be viable patterns, I would start demo trading them, creating spreadsheets and crunching numbers, hundreds of them...
...I started calculating how much I would need to earn each month to cover my outgoings...
...I worked out what I would need to do in order to earn the same amount of money that I produced in actual turnover for the corporations...
...and that's when I realised that I didn't have to have huge winners every day. In fact all I had to get was just 10 points. When you realise that there are dozens of these opportunities in the markets every day, it's really not that difficult to achieve.
Now just as I had always set definite 'Goals and Targets' in business each day and hit them - I was pretty soon live trading and making consistent profits.
Trading can be a bit of a lonely game, so I decided to share what I was doing with a few like-minded people and I started emailing my ideas to a group of traders (who are now close friends). From there I started not only emailing, but Blogging my results and ideas to the rest of the world.
And then, through sheer persistence, I found a single style of trading and started executing one simple strategy, my results took off, they were literally astounding!
My trades were beginning to match the success I was achieving in the corporate world (which feels GREAT, let me tell you)...
Then I made more...
Pretty soon, I was making consistent successful trades every day and was achieving my 10 Points every single day...
My account started off small, but then it grew and grew...
And pretty soon it had actually doubled in value all due to achieving just 10 points a day.
I could see that if I kept on getting those 10 points every single day, my earnings would just continue and I wouldn't need to keep my day job anymore, working all hours to make money for somebody else.
Now 10 points a day doesn't seem like much of a target. But with the magic of compounding, those 10 points are actually all you need to generate very big sums indeed.
If you start with just £1 per point, then 10 points a day would be £10 profit. But as your bank grows you can risk a bit more each trade. Let's say you start with a £500 bank and your risk is just 0.2% of the total bank and you increased your stake accordingly as your bank grew, here's what would happen...
By then end of your first week you'd have turned £500 into £552.
By week 2 you would have grown your bank to £609 - that's more than 20% increase.
Within 30 days your starting bank would have turned into £905 and yet you'd still only risk just 0.2% of your bank on each trade.
And you would still be aiming for just 10 points per day.
Remember, as your bank grows, so does your stake - starting from that £500 bank, after 90 days you could be staking over £5 a point and making a potential £50+ per day and an annualised tax free income of £15,000...
After 3 or 4 months, you could be on to £10 a point and looking at a potential monthly profit of over £2,000!
I should say here that, of course, not every trade will win. But by using my method you can expect an 80% strike rate. And because we are risking such a tiny % of the trading bank it would take 45 straight loses before your bank was wiped out! With 4 out of every 5 trades normally winners you can see that you bank is well protected.
When I first hit on this method all I did was repeat the
same process over and over again in hitting those
10 point targets and pretty soon I had doubled my account!
In fact, since I found the ideal time to place my trades, I was still able to go into the office when I had finished my trades for the morning. I was even happy enough to cut down on the hours I worked for other people because I knew where the real money was coming from.
I was finally free from chasing my income. I can now generate 'Points,' which means money any time I need it - and so can you!
That's when I started writing my Blog and helping other people escape the rat race, and also help avoid the scams that had stolen thousands of pounds from me when I was searching for a second income.
