I didn’t just quit the local council in a flash.

When that nagging feeling finally started slapping me in the face, what I actually did was make a small but fundamental decision...

To take action.

I carried on working...

I had to do an audit of the loans and investments department which nearly bored me to death, I had to carry on going into local schools to analyse the financial systems they had in place, I had to carry on counting other people’s money.

But I started doing something else...

One evening a week I attended a writing class at the local college.

You see, I knew I wanted to write in someway and make money from my writing. But you can’t just become a professional writer overnight...

And it’s the same for developing a second income stream that you love doing: it doesn’t just happened overnight.

So, you take one small step. At just two hours a week, the writing class was that step.

From there, it begins to spiral.

You realise you could take it a step further and study writing on a more permanent basis. From there you discover copywriting and information publishing and from there...

Well, here we are.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m lucky too. From that small but fundamental decision to take action I’ve had a good run.

But the key here, what I want you to take away from this, is that I only got to where I am because I made that decision, because I started small and set the ball rolling.

It’s this very same mentality that is so important to your own success.

But what you need to do - if you haven’t already - is to make that decision... that decision to take action.

Whatever it is you want to do, whether it’s starting your own online information publishing business, starting to trade the financial or forex markets, or if you want to develop a greater sports betting portfolio...

Just keep in mind that you do not need to do it overnight.

Your success will come, but you must be patient.

You must start by taking a small step and only from there will you be able to escalate your efforts and eventually, as I say, your success will come.
