An Idea That Could Have A Powerful Effect On Your Life

It’s time to leave Delray...
And I’ll have to be quick today because the taxi is already booked to take me to Miami - should be here in about 10 minutes.
But I must say, these past few days have been an excellent experience for me...
I’ve been able to pick up a ton of new ideas that I think will help you enormously. And over the coming weeks I’ll be continuing to share them with you in the Bulletin.
Of course, it’s been great to catch up with old friends too. And it’s always amazing to me how you’re able to make so many new friends at a conference like this.
In fact, it’s that opportunity to network, to make new friends, to meet future business partners, to talk to different experts in their own field that makes a conference like this such a valuable experience.
And you’ll be pleased to know that next year, you’ll be able to benefit from such an experience first hand.
But, don’t worry: you don’t need to spend nine and a half hours on a plane to do so...
You see, another of the reasons I’ve been out here these past few days is to get a behind the scenes look at how the conference itself is put together.
Because hopefully next year, in 2010, we’ll be organising our first ever Shortcut seminar.
You can already imagine, this will be huge!
To be honest, thinking about it and pencilling ideas down for what we’ll be covering is already getting me excited.
But it’s early, early days yet and because I want our event to be the very best in the UK, it’s going to take a fair whack of planning.
Just keep that in the back of your mind though - because I definitely want you to be there.
Right now though, I’ve got to shoot.
I’ll be out of touch tomorrow as I have a day in Miami and then the long flight home.
I’ll be back as normal - and only slightly jet-lagged - on Monday.
In the meantime, let me leave you with a quote we’ve been enjoying this week...
Down the road from the Marriott where I’m staying there’s a little bar called Pepy’s.
There’s a pool table and a pretty decent jukebox in there, so we’ve been popping in for a drink in the evening.
Hung on one wall is a big wooden plank with a quote by America’s most famous author - Mark Twain.
The quote perfectly and eloquently sums up an idea that’s been brought up at the conference a lot this week...
And I think it’s an idea that kept in mind could have a very powerful effect on how you live your life.
As I say, I’ll leave you with the idea today...
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade wins in your sails. Explore, dream, discover."
Best Wishes,
Glenn Fisher
